Comments from our Gastown Tour …
AMAZING!!! Went on the Gastown tour on my first trip to Vancouver and I was FAR from disappointed. My tour guide Anna was absolutely incredible and showed us an incredible time and gave us some awesome recommendations. The food was incredible and I definitely found some hidden gems that wouldn’t have come up on a Google search. I fully recommend this to anyone else on their first trip to Vancouver! Such a great experience! Great Food highlights of Gastown! We did this tour with another couple on our first night in Vancouver as an introduction to the area. We did 9 stops, the first was a craft beer, the others were all food and the last 2-3 were desserts/chocolate. Most of the stops were small bites but plenty filling given the number of stops and you don’t have to walk more than a block or so to each stop. We liked the mix of different types of foods, our favorite was Vietnese restaurant BaoDown where we had their delicious chicken bao! Our guide Liam shared helpful amd interesting historical tidbits along the way that really added to the tour, he clearly enjoys living im Vancouver and sharing his knowledge with others. He did a great job keeping us all together and kept the group moving and on time. We appreciated Liam’s calm and kind demeanor as well as his sense of humor and intelligence, it made for a really fun and pleasant afternoon and a very positive first impression of the city! |
